Day 15: A letter to someone I wish I could meet.
Dear Rick's Nana:
I never got to meet you but I know that Rick loved and cherished you and all the home-cooked meals you made for he and Jeff. Rick's dad calls you his Sainted Mother and based on all the things Rick has told me about you, I fully believe that you qualify for sainthood. You passed away just a few months shy of when Rick and I started dating but I feel like I know so much about you. I know one day I will get to meet you and I hope that you know I am doing everything in my power to take care of your grandson and our son, Avery. :o)

- This is the blog I created to follow my first pregnancy. Now that our son, Avery, has been born, I will continue to update it with things in our lives. Avery was born on July 1 at 2:33 p.m. weighing in at 8 lbs. 1 oz and was 20 inches long. He's a wonderful baby and I couldn't ask for anything more. I definitely want to have more children now because there is no love like a love for your child. It's indescribable!
